Sneak Peek of DOTTY!

The lovely and talented Julia Denos has posted many tantalizing images on her blog, including this small moment from our upcoming picture book, DOTTY (Abrams, Fall, 2010). DOTTY is the story of a girl named Ida and her imaginary friend, Dotty, who has no intention of being outgrown. The characters depicted here are Max, a classmate of Ida's, and his imaginary friends, Pete and Repeat. I love how Julia has interpreted all of the characters in this book and I can't wait to see the final product!
